  Numbers both literal and symbolic (April 1st Watchtower)

  i wonder how many readers of the watchtower have noticed the seeming inconsistency of the 144,000 teaching in the april 1st issue?.

  after discussing the symbolic nature of the numbers 666 on the wild beast comes this statement:.

  "immediately after disclosing the number 666, revelation mentions 144,000 followers of the lamb, jesus christ, who have his name and the name of his father, jehovah, written on their foreheads.".

  Fore note:I read none of the preceding postings or the Watchtower article cited.What I have posted is my WBTS 'numerology' indoctrination up to ca. 1990.

  Let's see how we compare,how much 'new light' has flickered.

  Watchtower Anachronistic Alchemy;The number #7 is the 'perfect' number. The number #3 means emphasis The number #6 is one less than #7(the 'perfect' number) so it means imperfection. The infamous # 666 is the 'imperfect # 6 three times ( remember 3 is the number for emphasis) so, 6, three times is imperfection big time so it must be diabolical. Watchtower final countdown: WBTS links up with 666 ( joins 8th king United Nations) so 666 now equals $$$ [ Footnote taken from: Read Danny's Deliberations : WT dogma of a limited 'little flock' of 144,000 'anointed JW elite going to heaven? If you read the entire 10th chapter of the gospel of John, you will see for yourself, John 10:16: "I have other sheep, which are, "not of this fold," those also I must bring, and they will all become one flock. "JESUS is OBVIOUSLY REFERRING TO THE CONVERSION of THE GENTILES!! Not two 'classes of people'. Also Revelation chapter 7 ,the ref. to the numerical 144,000, this entire chapter is taken by the watchtower as highly symbolic....

  .... Yet they take out of context the 144,000 sum as literal. By the way I DON"T want to go to heaven. The boogie-man of the "evil slave;" the precursor to the "apostate". Look at this parable. The evil slave did something to deem him evil. What did he do? He presumptuously set a date (for him to say, 'my master is delaying'). Hello, it was the 'Zions Watchtower' who set the date (1914). Everything about the WT's ivory tower dogma is twisted!!

  Apostate is defined in the dictionary as a "devout believer, turned destroyer", that is exactly what I am. I don't speak for other ex- members. The Watchtower's cult dictionary def. is (get this) "...somebody who has left the 'truth' and because of 'maddening envy' hates his former brothers'. Give me a break, man, I am not envious, I just want my money back. If you've read this far, the, 'emperor has no clothes,' he is butt-naked.].

  About grieving the dearly departed JW style: 1 Thessalonians 4:13 nt : The Lord's Coming 13My friends, we want you to understand how it will be for those followers who have already died. Then you won't grieve over them and be like people who don't have any hope. ( CEV ){{Then you won't grieve over them.}} The Watchtower's counsel on the grieving process for obedient Jehovah's Witnesses:."we don't grieve like worldings who have no hope''.[How this relates to the concept of buying small tubes of toothpaste]..That's right! I heard this'experience' given at a circuit assembly.The district overseer related the case of the faithful brother who," kept the day of the lord in mind" by only buying small tubes of toothpaste.This way he was always psyched up for the imminent rapture.( he died of old age). About grieving the dearly departed JW style.I know of family's who have never come to terms with their losses because they expect their loved ones to come back in the resurrection any day. That day of horrendous sudden impact to accept that it's all a lie is a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. SURROGATE/DISPLACEMENT RAGE a.k.a. the, "BOMB" .....

  The divine name simply explained: The "J" in Jesus is from the "J" in Jehovah. The original "Y" was Latinized in the 5th century and the "Y" was converted to the modern "J",and we now have Jesus instead of Yeshua and Jehovah instead of Yahweh One thing is for sure Mary did NOT call her first born baby Jesus.   My last stand Kingdum Hell in Rockland Massachusetts had a library with a huge 25mm thick plate glass window.It was salvaged from the Boston John Hancock tower and was actually 'bullet proof'.Originally the glass was manufactured super strong to resist tweaking and bending under seismic loads[earthquake proof] A fit-up setting to showcase what went on in the ''control room''. Elder control freaks with a mean streak.They would subject their victims to the JEOPARDY GAME,framing multiple false accusations IN THE FORM OF A QUESTION. (1)Bro Haszard we were ASKED if you were a nerd who doesn't want to have any fun?When we were ASKED we said no. (2) Bro Haszard we were ASKED if you were a faggot?When we were ASKED we said no. (3)Bro Haszard we were ASKED if you were trying to,"draw attention to yourself with 'big' cash contributions"?When we were ASKED we said no/ (4)Bro Haszard we were ASKED if you were "trying to draw attention to yourself" by .............. (5) ditto (6) ditto .... They go to school,(elder seminars) to learn this manipulative s**T. As the Mealy mouthing continued onlookers who had poised the questions to be ASKED would watch and gloat gleefully. .My nearly blind from birth JW mom would say that everything about JW's was for show and control.Indeed,how perceptive my mother.

  I GOTCHA!! I have a surgical ileostomy:Ileostomy, Colostomy, and Ileoanal Reservoir Surgery I DON"T use paper.I don't sit on the seat either..... Just think,I am spared all the many difficulties associated with that part of the anatomy.
